We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Deepak Kumar, CiTOS’ first postdoctoral researcher from India!
Deepak completed his PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay under the supervision of Prof. Irishi N. N. Namboothiri. His research focused on regio- and stereoselective cascade reactions involving curcumins, bromoform and isatin derivatives, developing efficient strategies toward complex molecular architectures.
At CiTOS, he is now exploring new challenges in continuous flow chemistry within the WEL-T program. His work contributes to the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) using continuous-flow technology, integrating computational insight with experimental validation to design scalable processes.
This exciting event follows Jean-Christophe and Diana’s inspiring visit to FCI2025, where they were fascinated the truly vibrant community. These exchanges now translate into new talent joining our lab!
