We are pleased to welcome three new Master’s students who have joined CiTOS to carry out their thesis projects. This year, we are delighted to have Jérémy Dal Farra, Leonardo Pace, and Siriane Verstraelen joining the team.
Jérémy is working under the supervision of Sébastien (PhD student) and will investigate the mechanisms underlying the oxidation of hydroxamic acids, as part of our ongoing research efforts in nitrosocarbonyl chemistry.
Leonardo, known as Leo, is mentored by Yuesu (postdoctoral researcher), who developed the first N2O3 flow platform for efficient nitrosation reactions. In this context, Leo will explore the use of N2O3 in nitrosation processes to synthesize value-added compounds.
Siriane has joined the Wel-T team under the supervision of Deepak (postdoctoral researcher) and will study the degradation of various active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) under oxidative conditions using continuous-flow techniques.
We are thrilled to welcome them to CiTOS and look forward to seeing their creativity and problem-solving skills develop over the coming year.
