Michele Desiante, from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, joins the group as an Erasmus student.
Welcome, Michele!
William Burtonboy and Maximilian Zoschg join the group as Master students.
Welcome, William and Maximilian!
NoĂ©mie has successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled âIntegrated Continuous Flow Photoreactor: Photooxidation of sulfides with Singlet Oxygenâ on Wednesday, March 24. She is now working with IBA.
The work on the continuous flow electrophilic amination of enolizable ketone substrates with nitroso derivatives is now published in the journal Green Chemistry (A modular, low footprint and scalable flow platform for the expedient ?-aminohydroxylation of enolizable ketones – Green Chemistry (RSC Publishing) )
Michael produced another beautiful cover artwork that is featured as a front cover of the April issue.
Maurane Moors and Yasemin Sicim join the group as Master students.
Geoffroy Kaisin also joins the group as an industrial partner from O&OC.
Welcome to everyone !
Diana Silva Brenes joins the group as a Postdoctoral Researcher within the framework of a NASA EPSCoR grant, as part of a partnership with Pr. Torsten Stelzer at the Crystallization Design Institute of the University of Puerto Rico. Her project will aim to develop a Personalized Medication System for Deep Space Missions.
Welcome, Diana!
Romaric has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled âContinuous flow strategies for the upgrading of biobased moleculesâ on Friday, September 18. He is now heading to Jensenâs group at MIT (Jensen Research Group â MIT Department of Chemical Engineering) with a BAEF fellowship (BAEF â Belgian American Educational Foundation)
Pauline Bianchi was granted a 4 years FNRS Research Fellowship for her proposal aiming at the development of innovative amination procedures (âGeneral fluidic platform for the generation and use of designerâs reactive nitroso species towards pharmaceutical ingredientsâ).
Her proposal relies on an interdisciplinary approach combining synthetic, physical organic chemistry and chemical engineering.
Her work fits within the context of sustainability and contributes to providing concrete answers for current societal challenges related to the preparation of pharmaceutical active ingredients and other biologically relevant molecules.
Yuesu Chen joins the group as a Postdoctoral Researcher within the frame of a FNRS-FSR Incentive Grant for Scientific Research (MIS, F.S.R-FNRS).
Welcome, Yuesu!
